3G not working, only EDGE!

Hey,

I have an ipad 2 3g. I encountered this problem before I upgraded to ios 5, as well as after. I was hoping the upgrade would fix it...

I paid for data on my 3g ipad for the first time, but i only get an edge network.

I tried resetting network setting, same thing.
I restarted the ipad... same thing.

any suggestions?

p.s. before ios5, the ipad was jailbroken.. if that matters.

Is it possible that 3G network connection is not available where you are trying to use it.

Nah, it's right next to my iPhone.
