3G Not Working

Hi I bought my iphone 3GS 16GB about 4 months ago and since then I have been unable to pick up 3G. I get a very low E signal but nothing else. Right now I am sitting next to someone with the exact same phone and he has a 3G signal where I do not. I have checked and all of our settings are the same.

I have spoken to O2 and they weren't very helpful! Any tips, suggestions?
