3G on iPad1 getting slower

I've noticed since upgrade software from 3.1 to iOS 5.0.1 that my 3G speeds are getting slower and slower, especially the upload speeds, does anyone no why or have to fix this?

Nothing hardly, I have never gone over my 2GB data plan? Every time a software update comes out it just gets slower and slower?
