Hey guys, I have my iPhone 4 jailbroken using redsn0w and then the untether patch through cydia. I have noticed the internet isn't super speedy, and eveytime I go into SBSettings, 3g is turned off. When I turn it on, close SBS adn then open it back up it is off again. I know it kills the battery quicker, but I want to have the 3g enabled at all times for the fastest possible internet. Is there a setting that makes it turn off all the time?

Any ideas would be appreciated

Also, after jailbreak, I'd recommend you to install a Cydia Tweak called My3G or something like that (going to search the name soon).
It disables 3G when phone is locked and re-enables it after unlocking :)

settings app->general->network turn 3g on then restart app and see if it turns off again. if yes, restore

If you're on AT&T you may want to re-seat the sim card. This may help as well.
