How many people would run out to get the new phone when the iphone turns 4g or how many people really dont care and think 3 g in good enough.

I would see the upgrade as a decent imporvement, though I wouldn't go running to buy one. 3G is perfectly fine for my uses, 4G can wait. I mean, let it get here, but I won't be getting it at launch.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

I think 4G network technology is awsome, but I don't plan on buying one until either:

A) 4G network penetration reaches >50%
or
B) The phone I want to buy (on contract renewal) comes with 4G anyway.

Considering how slow 4G rollout is likely to be, it will probably be for reason "B" before "A".

How about an option for those who don't have 3G yet. I am still on the edge network with constant promises from ATT that 3G is coming each month.
