I already have been reboting my phone and please note both of these posts where from my phone while on campus.

as a result of testing in areas where there is a lack of 3g coverage it does seem to be a problem with the network and not my individual phone.

as an interesting but probubly unrelated note I have been having problems with my verizon air card.
