Tell me your thoughts on this situation.
My and my wife consolidated accounts on ATT about 10 months ago. At that time I was available for an upgrade from my 3G in about three months, they stated that the upgrade would be pushed further away from us when we consolidated accounts because it was like opening a new account, but if I called and asked about getting an upgrade early when the new phone came out, it should be no problem. So in anticipation of the new phone I sent an email to ATT in more detail to the presidents of ATT's office outlining my problem. I got a call shortly after numerous emails stating that she would file a request to have my date moved up to now, and said it should take a week. That was last Wed. and still no movement on the date, nor have I heard from her. I called yesterday and left her a message.
My question is if they do not move my upgrade date towards me, is it worth the upgrade in January, since then I will be only 6 or 7 more months from a new phone?
