3G quick jailbreak question

I know that if a iphone 3GS hasnt been jailbroken before and you are on 3.1.3 your screwed but what about on the 3G? if i get a 3G thats not jailbroken but it has 3.1.3 i can jailbreak it right? just not unlock it?

Yes, JB but not unlock.

you can really do anything to a 3G if you havent updated to 3.1.3 ...due to that release updating the baseband. gotta love the 3G!!!

tough one, cuz the 3G is super slow compared to the 3GS ...only thing i hate. and multitasking via backgrounder is slowwwww....

At least i would be able to jailbreak, when my old phone was jailbroken i was messing with my phone all the time changing themes, editing themes etc now i cant even change my ringtone lol

I hear you. I'm used to it too and going stock sucks.
There should be a jb for the 3.1.3 3GS soon though.
