3g s broken external speaker.

I just noticed two things about the external speakers on my 3g s. 1 they are at least 3 times louder than those on my 2g. 2 the left speaker is much louder than the right. I noticed this because I covered the left speaker accidentally with my finger and I could barely hear the music. Is this normal? I suspect it is a defect.

I think this all started when Apple in its first online documentation for the iphone listed both sides as speakers on the 2g iphone, it was always a goof...

Before everyone gets their manties in a twist and the Mods like this thread... Keep in mind that the OP is a new forum member and has a phone where their are two identical grills on the bottom. When he covers one with a finger, sound comes out the other. It's an honest mistake. Don't expect everyone to search and look at the stickies before they post. What's really funny is that the question was answered in the very first response and people are still falling all over themselves with "Read the stickies, do a search N000000000B! Duh!!" posts.
