Quick question, am I right in assuming the 3G S charger can be used to charge any USB device? Ie I could plug my PSP into it and it's just going to output the standard 5Volts through USB?

Usually these things are universal.
Check the mAh and all that stuff first to make sure its the same as your PSP charger. If it is, you're good to go. If not, your PSP will explode.
