What were the old specs. Ram/processor?
333 mhz/128 ram?
400mhz / 128 ram I believe
I looooooooove this upgrade for the new iPhone. The casing didn't change, but the inside sureee did!

I don't see why people are complaining. The new iPhone is WAYYYYY faster and better in the inside.(This is all that matters when launching applications/playing video games)
In my opinion, Apple gave us nearly EVERYTHING we wanted! Copy and Paste, MMS, Tethering, Landscape, video camera, new camera w/autofocus, more ram, faster processor, 32GB....whewwww!
Apple is SURE getting my $399 next week!!!!

It is DEFINITELY not a minor upgrade! Its nothing but some of the 3G people complaining because they cannot get the new iPhone for 199/299. If they could, they would be FIRST in line!

No complaints from me. I bought the first iPhone and 3g. I bought the 3g on launch day and received subsidized pricing. All other phones I had to wait for eligibility in order to upgrade. This shouldbe no different in my opinion. I preordered a 32gb 3gs for delivery and can't wait. $499 is fair if you ask me. Plus I can sell my current iPhone to recoupe most of the cost.
This phone is just going to feel so much nicer to use across the board. Everything will respond and load quicker. The touch screen will feel a lot more responsive (because the CPU will pay more attention to it). The browser will be phenomenal (given these hardware upgrades plus the better Webkit code). I CANT WAIT!
But, but, but, but, there is no matte finish so its still a minor upgrade.

In all seriousness, this is a GREAT find, and I cannot wait to get my 3G S, especially since I busted my 3G. I cannot wait. Especially since it arrives the day after my bday!
