Done a scientific(ish) test, with a 3G and 3G S, both running off the same back up, so basically identical software wise (3G S is running 3G S Firmware obviously) and pictures are taken as close to identical as possible.

Trying to show off Macro, colours, low light etc. - This could also be because im indoors and its dark :p

I Think the 3G S Camera is better overall, but the Autofocus can hinder it sometimes, the cat picture shows this. and the colours seem a little too warm on the 3G S, but too cold on the 3G.

The exposure on all of your 3GS pictures looks seriously whacked. Did you have it set at auto?

If so it looks like Apple has some more work to do in this area.

Yeah, had it focusing on the subject of the photo, or just in the center.
