Hi all,
I recently moved to a new place. I get maybe 1-2 bars of cellular reception on average in the home and occasionally it'll jump up to 3 bars. I'm usually connecting to Edge or have the little circle icon in the status bar.
What I've noticed though is if I toggle 3G on/off with SBsettings (phone is 4S JB) then my cell signal drops, then starts up again with 3G. Also if I tether my phone (right now on MyWi) I get a 3G signal the whole time.
What is wrong with my phone? Is this a feature of iOS, 3G needs to be constantly "stimulated" to stay connected? Anyone else noticed this?
As I type this I've consistently had 3 bars and 3G signal.
