Hi All,

Question: I'm going to be sending my 3g iphone in to be replaced (sleep wake button broke) and wondering if I can just use my original iphone for the few days it takes? I tried to switch the sim cards a few weeks ago and it wanted me to activate and setup as a new phone and pick my plan and everything. Any advice on what I'm supposed to do from here? Should it just work when I switch the sims or do I have to set the 2g up as a new phone?

Thanks in advance!

You'll have to jailbreak your 2G, and possibly unlock it. But once you've done that it should work.

Thanks scaredpoet! I'm guessing that I jailbreak and unlock with no sim in the phone right?
