My wife dropped her iphone 3g in the toilet today and continued to use it for a few hours. She then got a message saying that an accessory was not plugged in correctly. She at this point told me what happened so we turned it off and removed the sim card. I have an extra original iphone laying around that I have been using as an itouch. If I put the 3g sim card in the old phone will she be able to use it until I take the new one out of the rice? Thanks.
