3G sometimes won't resume service

Hi Everyone ,

Hoping some of the more experienced members may have an idea about this one . My wife's phone is a 3g ( originally o2 phone ) which has cydia unlock with ultrasnow - it is using T Mobile at present but works with any network . Problem occurs not always but quite often - when service is lost phone will sometimes stay with no service - but as soon as phone is woken by pressing home button service will resume - any one have any ideas as this is really puzzling me ,
