3G speed in Phoenix is fine on any 3G phone EXCEPT for the iPhone.

but some people say there speed is good in other cities. So it's not just a phoenix att problem then?
I think it all depends on the phone you get.
Some peoples iPhone works great and others not so great.
I've tested this with a few friends who have 3G iPhones against a 3G Nokia and "most" would show a weaker signal than the Nokia.
So it's truely hit or miss.
