Since there is now way to turn off 3g on the iphone 4s. I can compare it to
wi-fi...

safari is pretty fast and opens quickly, but on 3g (no on wi-fi) it does not even open, even with 5 full bars showing.

I tried speed test and with wi-fi 27 ping with 3g again full bars it shows 20% in the ping status and does not even give me a ping number.....its like taking forever.

Not to mention that siri does not work...
I am worried if there is something wrong my phone...or this is something others are facing.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Sounds like your phone has a problem. Did you reset network connections and settings

I am on att forgot to mention that.
Did you reset network connections and settings.... how to do this.

Either the phone, or more likely, your network. I had a situation about two years ago with my 3Gs where the cell in our area had horrendous data speeds, and at one point, completely lost data connection (even though it was showing full connectivity), for 4 days. AT&T eventually tracked down the problem, and once fixed, it's now the fastest spot in the city for me. :)

Call AT&T and mention it to them. Have you tried it in different locations?

Att 3g is working just fine here. :D

So every time the network is slow do I need to reset it?

3G data works great for me. Except while trying to use 3g data while on a call. Data is extremely slow while on a call. Anyone else?

I was having the same issue the other day. Reset network settings made a minor difference, still only about 800Kbps down. Then I walked three feet over to the next office and got 3.4Mbps average, then walked to a window and got 4.8Mbps average.

Are you sure it's not your location?

Damm now a new problem.... wi-fi is not connecting.

It shows like its searching my wifi- from the list and then after a few seconds nothing.

what to do now?

I would first reset the network settings of the device by going to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.
