3G that I updated from 3.1.3 to 4.0 problem

I have a Iphone 3G that I updated from 3.1.3 to 4.0 but since the update, 3G connection still not working. I have never had any problems with the Iphone. I have tried everything but nothing worked.
Anyone have any ideas?
