3G to 3G S upgrade question (battery)

Ok I just upgraded my 3G to a 3G S. I remember when I was reading on here a few days ago I came across a thread that said you need to set up the 3G S in a certain way so the battery would last longer. I am trying to find the thread but I can not find it. =(
