3G USB modem software

Hello,
I just got a USB 3G modem stick from my ISP but the problem is that the software which ships with it simply crashes when I launch it. Is there a free software that I could use to connect ? I tried the demo version of launch2net which works great but disconnects after 30 min. The paid version is 50€

I've just found this post which explains how to use OSX config but I don't know how could I enter my the PIN of the SIM card.
