How much data do pay for each month? I realize the plans vary by service provider.

Also, how much data do you use in a month? I'm finding 2GB is plenty for me as I seem to be near wifi more than I expected.

ATT 2GB $25.

Kind of glad I went with 2GB instead of 250MB.

It's been a little under a week and I'm up to around 150MB.

and I'm not even using it that much!

Most times I'm connected to WiFi. All I've done on 3G is browse forums. Maybe loading pictures take up a bunch of data.

I recently purchased the Verizon 3G iPad 2 and will be using it to stream movies thru Netflix and surf the Internet as well as some app downloads and app multiplayer games. Which plan would be best for me?

i went with 250mb. i am rarely away from wifi. if i aam and i am gutting close or have a larger month use i can always bump it up.

I went with the cheapest, $15 for 250MB. I keep Wi-Fi off.

I just checked my usage and I still have 86MB for the rest of March. I guess I just don't use that much Data. Even my iPhone, I have 6GB and the most I've used was 2GB but that was forcing it.

World (basically Europe, "civilized" Asia and USA) unlimited via my job. But to add some more value to this post, if I had to get a private plan it would be 1Gb European for about 20$ a month.

Also still on the unlimited for $30.

...and i pay anywhere from $50-$150 for data on my international trips, which are every other month or so.

I picked up a 3g Verizon iPad, but I have not activated the data yet. I have a smartphone, so I don't need the iPad for mobile e-mail access, nor do I need two mobile internet bills in addition to my home broadband. I got the 3G capability so I can buy it as needed if I am going to be out of town or something.

1GB gets you a lot of web browsing and e-mail. but not a lot of video streaming. None of these plans are really very cost effective for things like netflix streaming.

Rogers Canada - $35.00 per month for 5GB

I don't use/pay for 3g data very often, but when I do, I'm quite happy with the price. :)

I have 3G but will only activate for trips. At home I use the wifi. Otherwise I use my phone.

You should try to get it for cheaper with the cutsomer relation group. Althought the plan I have is no longer valid but it will be back eventually.

I have the 6G for $20. ($30 - $10 credit)

I managed to snag the deal through AT&T - first month of 2GB is free, and then I can continue with it for $25, downgrade to 250MB/$14.99 or cancel it.

I assume by 4G+ you are including the old ATT unlimited plan otherwise you need an entry for that or it's going to skew the results.
