3gb RAM on 7 plus

Does the 1gb extra RAM make any significant impact on multitasking?

Do apps stay open longer??

I've not seen any evidence of this but the review embargo only ended midweek and end customers only got theirs yesterday. It's too early to know. A lot of the press coverage said this was for the camera processing, not normal apps.

The purpose of the 3GB of RAM was for the new camera, but it's definitely not locked behind the camera. It can certainly be used for multitasking.

I'm seeing about the same percentage of RAM usage as on my 6s Plus. I've not seen any impact of the extra 1GB at all. I thought it might help this one website where Safari always reloads a page because of a problem, but it doesn't.
