I was reading up on the 1002 error and tried the DFU mode etc, I also took it into apple and they said I have to buy a new one so I figured I might as well try and fix it by jailbreaking it. I used redsnow 4.2.1 and also did the baseband thing where it says you can't change it back. I was able to at least get my iphone back to where I could slide the bar etc. and get some songs from the ipod, etc but I have no wifi or cellular data. When I tried to restore it back through iTunes it said it couldn't for my device etc. I did all the DFU stuff etc. Is there a way to get around the iTunes dilemma of restoring my iphone to get my cell service back and wifi or am I wasting my time? I don't quite understand the whole .ispw thing, my iTunes is currently 4.3.3. Any help would be awesome!
