+1 Those of us who follow these things enough were pretty sure this was the case, but it's nice to have something to point the newbies to.

It is not possible at this time. I know you're new around here, but you should know that you can generally trust information from Applejuiced, -aggie-, dhlizard, or myself (this is not an exhaustive list of reliable posters...just those who posted in this thread). And, although we are human and do make mistakes, if all four of us are telling you one thing, you can be pretty sure it's correct.
To be clear, there is not -- and almost certainly will not be -- an unlock for the 05.12.01 baseband installed with 3.1.3. You can expect that an unlock will be made for whatever baseband version comes with the initial release of 4.0 in July, however. Until then, you're out of luck.

go thru the other threads which tell u how to unlock 3.1.3 baseband...u can do it wit ultrasn0w 0.93
