3GS 4.0 Jailbreak?

I've got a tad confused!!!
I have a 3gs on official 4.0.
I'm running windows 7 and my shshs are on file for 3.1.3.
Can I jailbreak?

My phone used to be jailbroken but is now on official 4.0. I don't have a clue what bootrom i have!

PwnageTool only is available for Mac, so not only will you need to (1) downgrade to 3.1.3 and be jailbroken via non-Spirit methods, but (2) someone else will have to make your custom IPSW for 4.0. Someone else will have to chime in and say wether step 1 is possible or not.

Okay, so if I understand, new bootrom + 3.1.3 + 3GS + no previous JB = no jailbreak still? Dang. I got the phone with 3.1.3 on it... Never had a chance.

Yeah. I don't know anything confirmed, but I'm sure geohot and/or others will come out with a 4.0 jailbreak soon enough. It may not be until iPhone 4 is jailbreak-able, though. Again, don't quote me on this. No one really knows yet.

Not yet.
Wait for a new JB to be released for those that are already on official 4.0
