3gs 4.1 with 05.16.01 firmware, how to unlock?

I have bought a used 3gs on craigslist which is running 4.1 OS with 05.16.01 firmware on it, and the phone has been activated. I want to unlock this iphone, what is my best option in doing so? Thank you in advanced.

Only by installing the iPad baseband if you choose to go that route.
