3GS 4.2.1 Stuck

Hello! I unlocked my 3gs with a tethered JB a while ago. Today, I reset my settings via the general settings, and tried to reboot my phone. Everything goes well, the pineapple logo shows up, but then the screen turns black as if it gets stuck and won't boot up to the home screen. Any help please? :/

Did you reset all settings?

If not, just run the newest version of redsn0w and it will untether (jailbreak) your 3GS.

I reset and erased all settings. I'm trying to boot my iphone via 0.9.6b6

When I enter pwned DFU mode, and try restoring, it tells me that my iphone isn't eligible for the requested build

Do you have SHSH saved for 4.2.1? If not, you will not be able to restore to it because Apple is only signing the latest firmware now. You will likely have to upgrade.
