I am curious if it's free for iphone 3GS"s as well? Works great/free on my iphone4. If I set it up on my GF's 3GS, will it work?

From Apple.com

"is now free on any iPhone 4, iPad, or fourth-generation iPod touch running iOS 4.2."

I am going to asssume that is a no.

But if you use the same account as the activated iphone4, I assume you'd be good?

Just curious if anyone has this working, before I test it myself tonight.

From Apple's iOS site:

You can create a free Find My iPhone account on any iPhone 4, iPad, or iPod touch (4th generation) running iOS 4.2. Once you create an account on a qualifying device, use your Apple ID and password to enable Find My iPhone on your other devices running iOS 4.2. Find My iPhone is not available in all countries.

Yes, it works fine on the 3G and 3GS. But there is a special way you have to get it working.
You have to set up your account to work on mobile me first. Follow those instructions.
