So my iPhone keeps telling me that "charging is not supported with this accessory", the problem is that I don't have anything plugged into it. It flashes on and off but really annoying when I'm trying to do stuff on my phone.

Anyone have this problem before or know how to fix it?

Sounds like a hardware problem.

Water damage?

No. My phone hasn't been near water lately. It started last night, I plugged it in to charge and the plug kinda got bumped out, I put it back in and everything was fine, the phone charged. After I unplugged it it was doing it.

I have the same problem

My iPhone 3GS is about a year old. This just started happening yesterday. I drained the battery completely and charged it all the way uo again and it is still happening.

water, dirt or lint from your pocket.......thats usually the cause of the problem....you have to remember that your phone does not have to get wet for water damage...condensation or sweat can cause it to have water issues as well
