3GS Compass and GPS no longer work

I unlocked and jailbroke my iphone with Purplera1n and it was great for a week or so. Everything worked fine and life was good.
I downloaded a few themes and then removed them and now my compass doesnt work and on Maps when you click the little circle in the lower left of screen "Find Me" it just goes round and round and never finds me.

I dont want to restore cause of Cydia being on it and it might make it worse.

Does anyone know what happened and how to fix it?

It sounds like you need to restore it. It won't make it worse, I don't know where you came up with that. Just restore and then rejailbreak.
