3Gs Crashing

My 3Gs keeps crashing when unplugged and running any app. Then trying to restart over and over. Some times it turns on and sometimes I have to plug it in before it can power up. Anyone else having similar problems? Tips?

Did you try a restore?
Sounds like a hardware issue.

Yes I did a restore. I can't seem to figure out if its random or if there is something that is always constant when it crashes.
