So I'm driving to the county fair here in San Diego and have Navigon running to guide me to the off-site parking. In the middle of my trip I loose GPS signal. I wait to see if it re-establishes for 5 minutes and nothing. I close the app, and re-open it and still no GPS. An error message comes up about a minute later saying something like I need to reconnect the phone to my computer and do a restore from iTunes.

Great, so after no phone at the fair, I come home to try and restore. I get an error message saying "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1002)." I've tried this on three different machines (Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP). I've done a search on this error and it didn't pull up much. Just said to try on a different PC.

I have a Genius Appointment tonight after work at 5:20. I can't remember when I bought this last year but hopefully it hasn't been a year yet...
