this is what he claims in one of his comments.

Good eye. I actually have one of those rubber covers and put a lanier through the hole for the headphones to avoid doing exactly what I did. Maybe the rubber cover helped as well, who know, but I'll definitely use it everytime from now on! LOL.
Phone still working fine with no issues whatsoever. I'm probably the luckiest guy alive!!!

Posting only because I did not specifically know what a lanyard was in this context. Thought I would post it in case anyone else was ignorant like me.

1. Nautical. a short rope or wire rove through deadeyes to hold and tauten standing rigging.
2. any of various small cords or ropes for securing or suspending something, as a whistle about the neck or a knife from one's belt.
3. a cord with a small hook at one end, used in firing certain kinds of cannon.
4. a colored, single-strand cord worn around the left shoulder by a member of a military unit awarded a foreign decoration.
5. a white cord worn around the right shoulder, as by a military police officer, and secured to the butt of a pistol.

think of that by yourself? or a youtube comment? =)

I didn't read the YouTube comment because at that very moment I was getting my car washed. I couldn't be bothered. Then again nothing anyone says is ever original. I'm far too funny to steal comments off YouTube. :)

I wouldn't be surprised even if that's really 3GS. Because, water damage does not occur right away. It takes some time to do its own thing inside your iPhone or your laptop.

Even very sugary iced coffee needs time.

Whenever a video from the 3GS is uploaded to Youtube from the phone, it says "iPhone" in the more info area. FAKE.
