I have had this happen to me a couple of times recently. Both towards the latter 3rd of my daily 45 minute jog.
Basically the phone will give me the ding and i will look down and it will have gone to voice control with no prompting from me. (I am generally listening to a pod cast or something through Safari). I will exit back to the phone and lock it again and then a minute later up comes voice control again. After a few times of this the phone will then automatically start playing my music... a few seconds on a song then it will skip to a new song. Sometimes it will start playing in what seems like 2x speed - rendering the phone useless as no matter what I do, within a few seconds it will start playing a random song.
Basically the phone will get a mind of its own and just start doing stuff like this. I have only noticed it now 3 times and all three have been at the end of a run and on hot days. I get home and set the phone down and within an hour or so it is back to normal.
Anyone else experienced this? Could it be due to the heat and the touch screen or something? Thanks for any ideas.
Phone is Jailbroken w/blackrain. Will that be a problem when I take to the apple store?
