3GS has poor battery life on 5.0.1

I updated my old 3gs from 4.1 to 5.0.1 and have noticed really poor battery life, It doesn't make it through the day with light use, and yes push email is turned off. Anyone else have this issue?

I found this, but solved it with a full fresh restore, dont put restore an old backup.
