I just updated and jailbroke 4.0 on my 3GS and my carrier logo is not showing up. My signal bars and 3G logo are there. I tried installing the 3.1.x carrier logo fix from Cydia which worked for me before but no luck. I also tried just putting the AT&T Custom carrier logo which I normally use anyways but again no luck. Anyone had this problem that could help?

Did you remove any carrier logo modifications you had on phone before going to 4.0 ?
Did you set up as new or restore from backup ?
If you had previous mods and didn't remove them or chose restore to backup, that is likely your problem.
When I updated to 4.0 from 3.12 (used custom firmware to jailbreak), I did not remove any carrier mods and I restored from a backup. I was having major battery issues though so I restored again using the custom 4.0 firmware and set it up as a new phone. Battery issue seems to be fixed but still no carrier logo.
That's your reason, right there.
Always choose set up as new for a clean jailbreak, especially if you are having battery issues.
Yes, but as I said I just did that and the battery is fixed but not the carrier logo.
IF you didn't remove previous carrier logo mods and did restore from backup, that is why your carrier logo is not showing now.
You will need to restore/rejailbreak and choose set up as new to fix it.

How can you restore to 4.0 and jailbreak when everything I'm seeing says as of the time of this posting there's no jailbreak for a freshly restored current-model 3GS on 4.0 ???
I used a custom firmware that was already jailbroken so the restore and jailbreak was one process.
Yes I am at 04.26.08. Applejuiced helped me figure this out in another thread...Carrier Logo fixer is not currently working in 4.0 but he recommended installing ultrasn0w which I'm trying now.
