Hi folks,

So I've been an iPhone owner since a few months after launch, including recently upgrading to the 3GS a few months after it's release. However, in the last two weeks, my 3G connectivity has been really flaky. Anything from no connection at all (when my phone has 3G enabled, it literally says "No Service" as if I were in a dead zone) to it showing the 3G symbol and saying that it could not activate the cellular data network. This has been on and off, and has not been isolated to the area around where I work/live.

I called AT&T last week and basically got a non-answer to my question about what was going on, but the last two days the phone was working fine so I assumed the issue was resolved. Tonight, however, the issue is back and I see "No Service" unless I force the phone back to the Edge network.

Any thoughts? Anyone experienced this before?
