Just got 3GS and it won't detect my Jawbone2 in discover mode.

I put my 3G and 3GS side-by-side and only the old phone recognizes the headset when I do a discovery.

And yes - it has already been unpaired :)

Is anybody else experiencing the same thing? Any work-arounds?

Robofred,
Saw your post to my thread. I did the same thing - old phone recognized immediatedly/new phone did not (too lazy to type that on my original post). Tried another BT device I had (BlueAnt) - still no luck. Took both devices to apple store and tried to pair with demo phones - no luck. Spoke to specialist who pulled their "stock" tester BT - couldn't do it either. Kind of glad it is not a problem with my phone because switching phones is a pain. Hopefully, some firmware update can fix it.

I paired my Jawbone II with my 3G S just now. I set up the Jawbone for pairing by turning it off, and then holding both buttons at the same time until the light blinked red and white. It then showed up under the bluetooth menu and paired immediately.
