3GS Louder Speakerphone?

I was always annoyed how quiet the iPhone speaker volume is. I can't hold any conversations out in the street and even inside the house i have trouble hearing people properly and seems i have to go into a vacuum enclosed space to comfortably hold conversations.

Max volume right now feels more like it should be half of volume.

Really hope they fixed this with the 3GS now.

Which iPhone do you have? With the 3G apple increased the volume which seemed to cover the complaints about it being too quiet. At a guess they would keep it at the same level or higher with the latest release.

Of course no one will know until it is in peoples hands.
