3GS no signal, please help

alright, it's been a long night. hope i didn't screw up my phone. i downgraded from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 and experienced the no signal issue. but i thought that upgrading to 4.0 would take care of the problem (not sure why) so i'm currently on 4.0 with baseband 05.13.04 and i still have no signal. any thoughts on what i need to do to regain phone function? thanks.

are you jailbroken? i think you have to install ultrasn0w

no luck. Says it couldn't activate cellular network. :/

you installed ultrasn0w then rebooted right?
nothing? no bars? what network are you on?

Phew! ultrasn0w didn't take the first time. Some kind of error, said it couldn't activate cellular network. I just tries it again after updating mobile substrate in cydia and this time ultrasn0w installed, rebooted and AT&T signal is back at full strength. Thanks!!
