3GS on 4.0 email just 'connecting'

I updated my 3GS flawlessly to iOS4 via the newly release itunes 9.2 for windows. However, when going into the mail app, all of my accounts just have the spinning pinwheel and says 'connecting'

anyone have this issue?

it appears to be my exchange mail account it doesnt like...must need an update on the exchange server end or something.

Gmail and pop accounts are fine.
