i have seen a few 3GS's on Ebay. They ALL are for the "pre-sale"

heres my questions:

1- They all say "no contract"

2- and they all say "unlockable"

I am considering selling my 3GS when I get it. However, I am concerned that I can not sell it because i am under contract. AND the 3GS is still "locked." What exactly do these Ebay sellers mean by these 2 things?

Thanks

they say no contract because by buying it on ebay, you avoid signing a contract

as for the unlockable part, they are either anticipating that it may be unlockable in the future (but I doubt they are), or they are just flat out lying to try and get more bids. People do this all the time, especially with iPhones.

I saw one once that said it was verizon compatible, and there was even a buyer who had asked if it was compatible with verizon, to which the seller had responded yes. Many sellers on ebay are just crooks looking for a quick buck. Which makes it harder for legitimate sellers.
