3GS on IOS4 won't go to sleep if left in SMS app -- am I alone?

So, basically what the subject says.

My 3GS is working pretty flawlessly with IOS4 so far, with one exception: If I receive and read an sms, or if I send one, and leave the phone sitting without leaving the sms app...

...I can come back to it minutes later and still find it glowing brightly at full power. If I hit the home button, it dims after 30 seconds as expected.

Is it just me, or has anyone else seen this?

Just tried sending and receiving a text and living the iphone in sms app and it's all fine for me.

youre not alone. My iphone 3gs with ios4 jb does the same. As it would seem, it only happens with the sms app.
