Hi all,

I recently had issues with my original 3GS and apple replaced it with a refurbished phone. I noticed something now, that I don't know if I've made up in my mind, or is truly a difference from my old phone.

Hold the phone in the air directly in front of your face so you are staring directly at the screen (make sure it's turned on and active).

Now, tilt the phone backwards slowly so it begins to start facing the ceiling.

Does your contrast of the screen change as you do this? My contrast begins to change pretty quickly and the screen begins to white out. I don't remember this happening with my old phone.

Your old phone did this. All screens have a limited viewing angle. Generally people don't view phone screens (or any screen for that matter) on a tangent.

right, i understand viewing angle, i just guess i didn't remember it being this severe.
