3GS redsn0w rebooting problem

I can't install redsn0w 0.8 to jailbreak my 3GS.
It gets stuck on "waiting to reboot" and it never reboots. Can't install redsn0w at all.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, lots of people, and they've posted about it on this forum.

1. When it gets stuck try pulling out the USB cable and reinserting it

2. If that doesn't work then restore a clean version of 3.0 using DFU mode, and then try again.
