I'm about to seriously knock my head through a wall with fustration.

Last night I wanted to restore my iphone to a custom 4.2.1 firmware with Sn0wbreeze 2.2. I messed up on the recovery mode countdown screen twice but i got it right the third time, After selecting my custom firmware in itunes it started installing.. well great.. then suddenly i get Error 14 in iTunes?? I tried rebooting the phone but it was stuck in recovery mode and i kept getting the connect to itunes screen on my iphone.

I tried kicking it out of recovery mode with Tinyumbrella but it's the same issue. it reboots and all i get is the connect to itunes picture on my screen.

I tried kicking it out with iReb too.. i also tried running ireb again to see if i could restore to the custom firmware with no luck. It just switches between Error 21 and 14

There's no way to drain it of battery since the screen goes black after a little while and there's no software on the planet that apparently can kick it out of recovery mode.

it's a 3GS with an older baseband and i'm relying on unlocking with ultrasn0w.

Could anyone PLEASE tell me how to kick this thing out of recovery mode for good or tell me how i can restore to a custom firmware without getting errors? I'm seriously worried that i might actually be sitting with a brick right now.
