Here's my story. iPhone (not jailbroken) got wet (not submerged) three days ago. Used hairblower, but did not open the phone. There was some moisture in the camera lens, but after the hot air and just leaving it out the moisture is gone.
Got the phone plugged in as it would not turn on. The phone came on and the screen initially looked busted (white wash), but it correct itself after a few hours plugged in. Phone showed the "Connect to Itunes" (recovery mode).
After restoing and upgrading (to 4.3.2) itunes recognizes the iphone, syncs it. I can even sync music. EXCEPT THAT IT WOULD NOT GET PAST THE
APPLE LOGO. i guess that means is not booting up correctly.
The phone won't turn off while plugged in and if unplugged the only way to turn off is by holding down the Home button or letting it die.
Try to put it in DFU mode, but will not go into DFU, recovery mode keeps coming on.
Try restoring back to 3.0, but it errors out (3194).
