I updated my 3GS to iOS 5 a couple weeks back and since then vibrate hasn't worked. I thought I'd hang around for 5.0.1 to see if the problem magically resolved itself, but it hasn't!

Vibrate is on in General > Sound. If I plug the iPhone into the mains or flick the silent switch the iPhone doesn't vibrate anymore.

I did manage to get it to vibrate once by plugging it in, but that hasn't happened in a few weeks.

Any ideas? I'm thinking the hardware might be a bit dead, but hoping someone has a neat fix... :D
