I am planning on upgrading to the iPhone 3GS today, but I have on question regarding my Family plan. If I am upgrading and signing a new two year deal, does the primary person on the account need to be present at the Apple store with me? My sister is the primary on my account and I don't want to drive an hour without her if I am going to need her there to upgrade. Anyone have a situation like this? Thanks for any help!

I have seen multiple threads ranting about Apple not letting a user upgrade if they're only an authorized user on the account and not the primary account holder. (Your sister can add you as an authorized user on her AT&T account)

I would take her along just in case.
